The physicians at Little Silver Pediatrics and Family Medicine are advocates of vaccines to keep children safe and protect them from diseases that can impact their health, and in some cases, cause death.

Vaccine Schedule

Based on the guidelines from the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics, here are the general guidelines for common vaccines for infants, toddlers and children.  For additional information, click on the link for each vaccine, for the CDC information.

Hepatitis B | 3 doses | 1 month, 2 months and 6-12 months

Hib | 4 doses | 2 months, 4 months, 6 months and 12-15 months

PCV | 4 doses | 2 months, 4 months, 6 months and 12-15 months

Polio | 4 doses | 2 months, 4 months, 6-18 months, 4-6 years*

DtaP | 5 doses | 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 14-18 months, 4-6 years*

MMR | 2 doses | 15 months, 5 years*

Varicella| 2 doses | 12 months, 6 years

TdaP (DtaP booster)| 2 dose | 11-12 years and 12^th grade**

Meningitis | 2 doses | 11 years, 5 years after 1^st dose (6^th grade, 12^th grade)

Rotavirus | 3 doses | 2 months, 4 months, 6 months

HPV | 2 doses | 9-14 years, 6 months after 1^st dose | 3 doses if after 15^th birthday
